Ileana about Julayi and DCM

Ileana is back. She will be seen in three different films - two in Telugu ( Julayi & Devudu Chesina Manushulu ) in a span of 60 days now. But she promises us that audiences would get to see her in three different avatars and varying characters. She talks about her forthcoming films with media. Here are excerpts..

Character in Julayi is unique

"What I am playing in Trivikram's film is completely different from what I am doing in Puri's movie. InJulayi , there are changeovers in my character within the movie, but I should not reveal about them at this moment

Missing Julayi audio release event

I am very fond of Trivikram who has given me such a cute role in Jalsa , so how could I miss his movie but the problem is that I was not available on that day and the producers already knew it. I had given dates long back to another movie and I could not cancel the shoot. It was impossible for the producer to cancel the audio inauguration too. I really wanted to come. It was unfortunate, things did not go together.

Tollywood is first priority

Telugu industry has given me amazing break, its make me realize that this was my destiny. I am thankful to the industry because it has made me what I am today and has brought me glory. I am very thankful to this industry.

I am not Size Zero girl

People are thinking that I have lost too much weight and became a size zero baby. But can we make it here official that my size is 4, not size 0. Trust me, shall I show my jeans to prove this? (laughs)

About Devudu Chesina Manushulu

This has been amazing experience working with Puri for third time and with Ravi Teja for third movie. The film is an out and out entertainer with tons of fun and I am aware that it carries lot expectations too. One may get the impression that the film is a fantasy because of title and Brahmanandam playing the role of God but it is not - it has got a lovely mix of emotion, drama and tons of comedy….

Belief

I am not religious but I am spiritual. I go to Temple, Mosque. I am definitely not partial to Christianity. I like to believe that there is someone up there who takes care of me.

Not just glam

People have this notion that models cannot act. I wear good clothes and I look like a model though I am not. Glamour and acting are two different aspects. Models can be good actors. The best example I can give is Priyanka. I have tried to give as much as I can for my roles. People have appreciated my performances before and I can’t wait for the release of these two films.

Speaking in Telugu

I don’t have teacher on the set. Maybe some actresses have teachers. I have my assistant director who helps me. There is no trainer for me. The Telugu that I have learnt is from the sets. Now I can speak Telugu, not fluently of course.
